What is the significance of Xuanwu Mountain Fo Yin Cup?

One positive and one negative are called Holy Grail, Victory Cup or Letter Cup, the inner section is called Laughter Cup or Yang Cup, and the outer surfaces of the two cups are called Yin Cup.
