What coins are used for divination? What are the most formal divination methods of the Book of Changes?

First of all, briefly introduce the yarrow occupation method in Zhouyi:

(1) With fifty yarrow trees, the symbol of "Tai Chi" was first removed, and it was no longer used. The remaining 49 letters are divided into two halves, symbolizing "two musical instruments", with half in each hand;

(2) Take one from the right hand and put it between the little finger and the ring finger of the left hand, symbolizing the "human" in the "three talents" (heaven, earth and man);

(3) Put down the yarrow of the right hand, and count the yarrow of the left hand with the right hand, four at a time, and the last remainder is sandwiched between the ring finger and the middle finger of the left hand. It is said that four of them symbolize "four seasons" and the rest symbolize "leap moon";

(4) Count the half of yarrow held by the right hand with the left hand. The method is the same as above, and the remaining yarrow is sandwiched between the middle finger and the index finger of the left hand. At this time, the yarrow in the left hand is not 59, and the remaining yarrow is not 444;

(5) Put 95 yarrows aside, divide the remaining 40 or 50 into two halves and put them in the left and right hands respectively, and then take one from the right hand and put it between the little finger and the ring finger of the left hand. As mentioned above, count four at a time, and then count the left and right hands. The yarrow on the left twice plus the first one on the left hand must be four or eight. At this time, the remaining yarrow is not thirty-two, thirty-six, forty;

(6) Do the same operation again, and the remainder is eight or four. After removing the remainder, the remaining yarrow is either twenty-four, twenty-eight, thirty-two or thirty-six.

The above three scores of yarrow are called "three changes". Three changes have four results: twenty-four, twenty-eight, thirty-two and thirty-six. These four numbers are determined by the probability of splitting into two when the first change occurs. The fortune teller can't choose his own results in advance, so the ancients thought that there was "destiny" or "providence", which could predict the future and imply good or bad luck. These four numbers are six, seven, eight and nine times the number of "four", and six and eight are even numbers, belonging to yin; Seven and nine are odd numbers and belong to Yang. The Book of Changes, which belongs to Yin, is recorded as "-",but six of them are old Yin and eight are shaoyin; Yang is recorded as "-",but nine is, and seven is shaoyang. The ancients stipulated that "old age is less and unchanged". If the result of divination is seven or eight (that is, the remaining twenty-eight or thirty-two yarrow), then this crop will be forgotten. This hexagram can be used to decide good or bad luck, but if there are six or nine old Yin and Lao Yang, these old Yin and Lao Yang will change again in the future, turning Yin into Yang and Yang into Yin, which constitutes a hexagram. Please refer to the previous six-pointed star to help predict. Because Lao Yang and Lao Yin will change, it is called "change".

It takes three changes to get a six-pointed star. Zhouyi used yarrow to predict good or bad luck in the future. A hexagram has six hexagrams, so it needs six * * * eighteen changes. This is the "ten changes and eighty percent hexagrams" mentioned in Zhouyi Condensation. Once it becomes a six-pointed star, it can be predicted. Therefore, the hexagram is composed of six yang hexagrams or yin hexagrams.

Coins are generally used by people to pass on treasures.
