Introduction of China Chess Course

The introduction course of China Chess involves the introduction of chessboard, chess pieces and moves.

1, chessboard

Straight line: The parallel long sides on the chessboard are called straight lines, with a total of 9 lines, 7 of which are separated by river boundaries. From right to left, the straight line on one side of the red chess piece is represented by China numbers one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight and nine in turn; A straight line with black chess on one side is also represented by Arabic numerals 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 9 from right to left.

Horizontal line: The shorter parallel sides on the chessboard are called horizontal lines. The horizontal line * * *, with a total of 10, consists of red pieces. The horizontal line is counted from the bottom line of the red edge, and is represented by chinese numerals from one to ten from bottom to top; The horizontal line with black chess on one side starts from the black bottom line and is represented by Arabic numerals 1- 10 in turn.

Intersection point: the place where a straight line intersects a horizontal line is called the intersection point. The whole chessboard has 90 intersections, where the chess pieces are placed and moved.

River boundary: the place where there is no straight line in the middle of the chessboard is called "river boundary" It represents that the two sides give up the war and determine the dividing line of their respective regions.

Jiugong: The place where diagonal lines are drawn at both ends of the chessboard is called Jiugong. Generals can only move at nine intersections of their respective "Nine Palaces".

2. Chess pieces

There are 32 pieces of chess * * *, which are divided into red and black colors, and each color has 16 pieces, which are divided into 7 arms.

Hiroko: 1 Handsome guy, 2 chariots, 2 horses, 2 cannons, 2 photographers and 5 soldiers.

Sunspot: 1, 2 cars, 2 horses, 2 guns, 2 elephants and 5 soldiers.

3. Chess moves

Shuai (general): Shuai (general) is the head of chess and the goal of both sides. It can only move in the ninth house, can go up and down, can go left and right, and can only walk one grid at a time by pressing the vertical line or horizontal line. Handsome and handsome can't face each other directly on the same straight line, otherwise walking will be judged as negative.

Shi (Shi): Shi (Shi) is the personal bodyguard of the general (handsome) and can only walk in Jiugong. Its chess path can only be a diagonal in Jiugong.

Xiang Xiang: Xiang Xiang's main function is to defend and protect his handsome (general). Its way of walking is to walk two squares diagonally at a time, commonly known as "flying elephant field" An elephant can't cross the river because it is square in the river boundary, and if there is a chess piece in the middle, it can't go anywhere, commonly known as "elephant eye".

Car: The car is the best in chess, and it can walk regardless of horizontal or vertical lines. As long as there are no obstacles, the number of steps is not limited. Therefore, one car can control 17 points, so it is known as "one car with ten children cool".

Gun: When the gun doesn't eat, it walks exactly like a car. When playing chess, there must be 1 chess pieces between yourself and your opponent (no matter your opponent or your own chess pieces). The gun is the only chess that can be played.

Horse: The way a horse walks is always inclined, that is, first walk one square horizontally or straight, and then walk obliquely, commonly known as "the horse walks the sun". A horse can choose eight points around it at a time, so it has eight faces. If there are other chess pieces blocking the direction of progress, the horse can't walk past, commonly known as "jumping the horse's legs."

Soldier (pawn): After crossing the river, you are allowed to move left and right, but you can only take one step at a time. Even so, the power of soldiers (pawns) has been greatly enhanced, so there is a saying that "a pawn crosses the river to top half a car."

The Legend of the Origin of China Chess

China chess originated in China. Dr Joseph Needham, a famous British scholar, clearly pointed out in China's History of Science and Culture that chess is also the creation of China people. He analyzed in detail the relationship between China's ancient game-Liubo and astronomy, symbolism and mathematics. He said: "Only in China, the prevalence of Yin-Yang theory promoted the emergence of the embryonic form of chess, invented astronomical divination, and then developed into a game with military significance."

The word chess first appeared in the Warring States Period. There is a special record of its shape and play in "Chu Ci Evocation": "There are six books in chess; Go hand in hand with the camp, and the road is forced; When you become a cockroach, you will seek it and you will be white. "
