What is the Book of Changes?

The Book of Changes has more than 24,000 words, formerly known as the Book of Changes, also known as the Book of Changes. It was originally a divination book, and was later regarded as a philosophical classic by Confucianism. According to legend, there are three kinds of easy books used in ancient divination: one is the Yi in Xia Dynasty, called Lianshan; One is the Yi of Shang Dynasty, called "Gui Zang"; One is Zhouyi, which is the existing Zhouyi. The first two books have been lost, but the Book of Changes has been passed down to this day. In Zhouyi, two basic symbols-"He" and-"are used to represent Yang and Yin. Overlapping these two symbols with three layers, such as San (gan) and San (Kun), can form eight combinations, which are called eight diagrams; Eight diagrams overlap in pairs and can be combined into sixty-four hexagrams; Each of the sixty-four hexagrams has six hexagrams. Sixty-four hexagrams have their own words, and each hexagram has its own words, respectively explaining the meaning of each hexagram. The characters of hexagrams and characters are the classics of Zhouyi. Many scholars who study Zhouyi believe that the hexagrams are works in the early years of the Western Zhou Dynasty, because the contents recorded in them include the stories of the ancestors of the Shang Dynasty and the historical facts of the early Zhou Dynasty, but they have no color for later generations.

In addition to divination, there are biographies of storytelling, such as seal script, classical Chinese, cohesion, new divination, preface divination, image and miscellaneous divination, which are collectively called "Ten Wings". The author of Ten Wings is not the same person, nor is it written at the same time. Shi Yi's interpretation of the scripture of Zhouyi may be inconsistent with the original intention, so we can't rely on them to understand the text.
