Taoist classics
1, Zhuangzi, also known as the Southern Classic.
It is a Taoist classic written by Zhuangzi and his later scholars in the middle of the Warring States Period. After the Han Dynasty, Zhuangzi was honored as a real person in the south of the Yangtze River, so Zhuangzi was also called a classic in the south of the Yangtze River. His books, Laozi and Zhouyi are called "San Xuan". Zhuangzi mainly embodies Zhuangzi's critical philosophy, art, aesthetics and so on. Its content is rich and profound, involving philosophy, life, politics, society, art, world outlook and many other aspects.
2. The philosophical works of Laozi (Li Er) in the Spring and Autumn Period of Tao Te Ching.
Also known as the Moral Classic, Laozi's 5,000 words and Laozi's 5,000 essays, they are the works of China's ancient pre-Qin philosophers before their separation, and they are an important source of Taoist philosophy. Tao Te Ching is divided into two parts. The first part of the original text is the Tao Te Ching, and the second part is the Tao Te Ching, without chapters. Taoism takes "Tao" as the core, thinks that the avenue is inaction, and puts forward political, economic, governing the country and military strategies such as cultivating Tao, guarding men and women, and combining rigidity with softness. It has a simple dialectical thought, which has a far-reaching impact on China's philosophy, literature, science and technology, art, music, health care and religion.
The origin of Taoism can be traced back to Emperor Taigu. During the Spring and Autumn Period, Laozi collected the great wisdom of ancient sages, summed up the essence of ancient Taoist thought, and formed a moral theory of inaction. It marks the formal formation of this Taoist thought. Since then, it has become the supreme treasure of governing the country in past dynasties.
