How to make your own simple tarot cards

First of all, both the East and the West have the saying that tarot cards are "simple". Many elements in tarot cards are necessary. Whether you do it yourself or go out to buy it, these elements are necessary and there is no way to simplify them. For tarot cards, what is important is how to make it work, not how to draw something that looks like tarot cards. It doesn't mean that you take two pieces of paper, draw a picture on it, and then say, "OK, now these two pieces of garbage become tarot cards" and then it becomes tarot cards.

Of course, this does not mean that tarot cards cannot be made by themselves. In fact, many tarot masters have made their own tarot in history, and tarot is the spiritual amplifier of users. Therefore, the more familiar the owner is and the more tarot he contacts, the better the divination effect will be. Handmade tarot cards have better tacit understanding and divination effect than purchased tarot cards. However, if you want a so-called "simple" tarot card, then I suggest you buy it directly, because handmade tarot cards can never be "simple"-they need a lot of production and are very complicated.

Since LZ is interested in the method of making tarot cards, I will talk about the method of making tarot cards here. It should be noted that all precautions must be done well, and any step that is not done well will greatly affect the effect of tarot cards. If you can't do it well beyond three steps, you can only toss out bookmarks, not tarot cards.

Tarot card making steps:

1. Material selection: This includes painting paper and pigments. You need to choose two kinds of paper, one is thin and soft, and it is better to have some transparency. This paper will be where you draw images and numbers. Egypt used to use papyrus. Personally, I think good Chinese painting paper is very good, but it is best to choose cooked rice paper instead of raw rice paper, mainly because the color invasion of cooked rice paper is not too high and it is easier to grasp. In addition, you should choose a kind of hard paper as the bottom of the card. The thickness of this hard paper should not be too thick, otherwise a large number of tarots will be too thick when they arrive at first base, and they will be hungry and it is not convenient to shuffle. The texture of the paper must be very good, and it can withstand long-term touching, shuffling and stacking. The color of the paper should be pure white or light yellow. As for the choice of pigments, there are not many requirements. You can draw the bottom with a pencil, and then draw with gouache or watercolor. It should be noted here that you can't draw with a watercolor pen, because the color of the tarot card must be "two-step color" (generally speaking, the way of using a pen, dipping in paint and daubing again is two steps, while the watercolor pen is directly colored, and so are crayons and colored pens, so you can't).

2. Paper-cutting: The aspect ratio of tarot cards is A.A: 2A.. As for the specific size, there is no requirement. It can be the ultra-small tarot card of 1. 1: 2 or the large tarot card of 8.8: 16. As for the ordinary tarot cards we usually use, it is generally 4.4: 8 (in centimeters)

3. Check the box: Tarot cards have two parts-numbers and pictures. The so-called tick box is to separate the numbers and pictures of tarot cards. In general, numbers and check boxes can be filled in together. It should be noted that the numbers generally account for about 65,438+0/4 of the tarot cards, and the pictures of the tarot cards should be "left" near the edge, except this step. The total width of the sides is generally110 of the tarot width, that is, for a tarot with a width of 4.4cm, the sum of the sides left should be 0.44cm, that is, 0.22cm should be left on each side (here, two sides are taken as an example, but actually all four sides should be left, that is, 1/20).

4. Drawing: The drawing part is the key to making your own tarot cards. It should be noted that the first three steps can be done together, that is, the big and small akana can be cut, framed and written together, but the drawing part must be separated. The Great Akana can only draw one picture every day, and the Little Akana must complete one set every day (that is, the sword, the Holy Grail, the coin and the scepter must be completed within four days). When sketching, you must repeat the meaning, keywords, gods, stars, gods, stars, etc. When painting, you must meditate or recall, and the recalled meaning must be complete, and you must never miss the gods and stars.

5. After all is finished, just open the card.
