The carrier of China ancient literature

According to historical records, the earliest document in ancient China is Yu Shu recorded by historians during the reign of Shun Di in 2000 BC, but the original has long since disappeared. The earliest extant ancient book is Oracle Bone Inscriptions unearthed in Anyang, Henan Province in the late Qing Dynasty. From the Zhou Dynasty to the end of the Qing Dynasty, the literature carrier was also preserved with gold, jade, copper, iron, stone, silk and other things for a long time or used in some special circumstances. After the document carrier was made of paper, the imperial edict was made of yellow paper until the late Qing Dynasty. During the Ming and Qing dynasties, congratulations to superior officials were written in red paper, and general documents were written in white paper. The paper formats of documents in past dynasties were different. Paper carrier is folded, which was used in Ming Dynasty from Yuan Dynasty, and is called Ben. Other documents are made of a single sheet of paper and used as scroll documents for official ID cards. In the early Qing dynasty, paper movable type still followed the Ming system.
