Before Emperor Wendi left the palace, why did a fortune teller say that he would never come back?

1. Yang Jian is going to Renshou Palace.

In 604 AD, Emperor Wendi of Sui Dynasty left the palace and became Renshou Palace. Of course, in the past, when the emperor went out, he always entrusted the things in the palace to others. This time it was an exception. Because the news just came out, a "court warlock" came to see Emperor Wendi in a panic!

The so-called court warlock is actually a fortuneteller, who is just left by the emperor to do physiognomy and divination. Although it is the same as the civil servants in the sky, it is different. To put it simply, the civil servants in heaven look up at the stars in the sky, while the magicians in the court stare at people or their positions.

Although the author's writing is a bit ridiculous, we must never underestimate such people. All the great prophets in history came from this kind of people, such as Yuan Tiangang in the Tang Dynasty. Closer to home, this court warlock around Emperor Wendi of Sui Dynasty actually belongs to such an awesome person. His name is Zhang Qiu Taiyi!

After seeing Yang Jian, Zhang Taiyan began to discourage Emperor Wendi from leaving the palace. Emperor Wendi of Sui is of course very strange. Why? At first, Zhang Taiwei refused to talk about it, but Emperor Wendi of Sui insisted on listening to it. Finally, Zhang Taiwei was a little impatient and said, "How dare I modify the text? I'm afraid I can't come back."

Emperor Wendi was furious when he heard this. Because the meaning is obvious: I tell you the truth, your majesty, you can't come back when you go out, because you will die outside! So Emperor Wendi drank the samurai, threw Zhang Taiyan into the death row in Chang 'an, and finally said, when I come back, I will kill you!

In this way, Emperor Wendi angrily left the palace, and when he arrived at Renshou Palace, he remembered that the business had not been done yet, and he hurriedly wrote to the court, and Prince Yang Guang had full authority to handle the affairs of the court. Emperor Wendi was relieved and settled down in Renshou Palace. Unexpectedly, after living for less than three months, Emperor Wendi became ill!

Sui Wendi stills

Second, from Zhang Taiyan to Lu Taiyan.

At first, Emperor Wendi didn't seem to care too much, but his condition became more and more serious. Finally, he couldn't hold on, so he hurriedly called Yang to Renshou Palace and made a final entrustment. At this time, Emperor Wendi of Sui Dynasty must have remembered Zhang Taiyan and said to Yang Guang, "This man is extraordinary. He advised me not to come out, but I didn't listen, and I came anyway. Don't kill him on the way back. Be sure to let him out of death row and let him stay with you. "

Now, let's briefly introduce the next chapter, Qiu Taiyi, who has been called a prodigy since childhood. According to historical records, at the age of seven, he learned thousands of words every day, and the country called him a prodigy. I especially like Buddhist scriptures and divination. Later, because of his fame, many people came to study one after another, and Zhang Taiyi hid in Wutai Mountain.

Yong Yang Steels

But his reputation has been heard by the prince, so "the Crown Prince (Yang) is brave and hears it" and came to his side. Unexpectedly, after Zhang Taiyan joined Yang Yong, he was very pessimistic about his future. He once said to his relatives, "I was arrested and I don't know what tax is."

This means: I was forced to come by Yong Yang, but Prince Yong Yang is here, but this is not my final destination! The meaning is clear, Yang Yong can't be emperor! Sure enough, Yong Yang was later abolished, although he was collectively punished as an official slave. But Emperor Wen of Sui stayed by his side after all, and now Emperor Wendi of Sui Dynasty has died in another language. Naturally, such a figure is a fortune for Yang Guang.

Yang Guang Steels

So after Yang Guang became emperor, he received Zhang Taiyan, and soon Zhang Taiyan showed his cards to Yang Guang, and immediately persuaded Yang Guang! After Yang Guang ascended the throne, Hanwang Yang Liang refused to accept it and opposed Yang Guang. So Yang Guang sent troops to counter the rebellion and asked Zhang Taiyan, "Will Yang Liang get rid of me?"

Zhangqiu Taiyi said, "Why not! The emperor can rest assured. " If Yang Liang failed and didn't make waves, Yang Guang would still be the emperor firmly! Naturally, Yang Guang was very happy. When he learned his surname from Zhang Qiu Taiyi, he said, "Your surname is Zhang Qiu, just like Lu. Simply change it to Lu Taiyi! " From then on, Zhangqiu Taiyi was renamed as "Lu Taiyi".

All the above contents are from Wei Zhi's Sui Shu. Although I doubt it, I have to believe it cautiously. In particular, Lu Taiyi's prediction about Emperor Wendi of Sui Dynasty is really amazing. But when I saw that he was invited by Yang Yong, but he finally got close to Yang Guang, I seemed to understand something.

It is estimated that Lu Taiyi's contact with Yang Guang began as early as the Yong Yang period, so Yang Guang wanted to do something. He knew that it was natural to predict that Yong Yang would not become emperor. When Emperor Wendi of Sui Dynasty left the palace, Yang Guang was already a prince and had sharpened his sword. He guessed the consequences of Emperor Wendi's going here, but he couldn't say clearly. He could only say vaguely, I'm afraid there will be no return!

Of course, the above can only be regarded as bold assumptions, because there is no historical support, so be careful to verify. After all, Emperor Wendi died in Renshou Palace, which has a lot to do with Yang Guang!

Finally, I want to say one thing. In fact, Lu Taiyi's greatest contribution is not to tell us these absurd events in history books, but to be able to "touch books" after he became blind! What does this mean? The author is not a metaphysical person, so I think this should be the earliest Braille. In other words, there were blind documents engraved on bamboo slips in the Sui Dynasty. Of course, this is only the author's reasoning based on historical materials, and it is necessary to use the words of one family to attract jade!
