Is Guiguzi a real person?

Guiguzi, as a mysterious figure in the history of China, has many legendary identities. Military strategists call him a saint, strategists respect him as an ancestor, and Taoism calls him the ancestor of Wang Chan. Guiguzi, who keeps pace with Laozi, Confucius, Han Feizi and other sages, should leave a strong mark in history. However, throughout the 5,000-year history of China, there is so little information about Guiguzi that many people question his existence and have different opinions. There are three main evaluations of him in history.

The first is that guiguzi does exist in history. This view has also been recognized by many people. The most direct evidence is Sima Qian's Historical Records. As the first biographical history book in China, Historical Records did not give a biography to Mr. Guiguzi, but when describing his disciples Su Qin and Zhang Yi, people repeatedly mentioned that they were Mr. Guiguzi's teachers. For example, Biography of Historical Records and Zhang Yi wrote. So are Zhang and Ren Wei. Mr Guigu is a scholar, and he began to experience everything with Su Qin. Su Qin and Zhang Yi, as real figures in history and the realistic nature of Sima Qian, recorded very reliable contents.

Of course, some people question this statement, saying that Guiguzi was created by Su Qin and Yi Cheung. Sima Zhen, a famous scholar in the Tang Dynasty, wrote in his history books that Su Qin wanted to be mysterious, so he used the pseudonym Guiguzi. However, in my opinion, Sue is a talented and ambitious person, but will he make up a character to give up his position for fame and fortune?

The third reason sounds even more absurd. Guiguzi is described as a master who can learn from the past and the future. So his disciples have all kinds of magical powers. Many wonderful books in later generations hold this view. According to Jin Lou Zi written by Emperor Yuan Liang and Xiao Yi, Xu Fu went out to sea to seek immortality and medicine because Qin Shihuang had heard of his master Guiguzi Miao Yan. But on second thought, Guiguzi could live for at least hundreds of years if he met Qin Shihuang, which sounds really strange.

In fact, the real guiguzi in history is not very mysterious. His name is Wang Xu. He was a patriot in the Warring States period. He calls himself Mr Guiguzi because he has lived in this place for a long time. He not only has the talent to look after the world, but also has the compassion to save it. His disciples are all celebrities and great men of all ages. Nowadays, Guiguzi culture has also been applied as a world heritage, which is highly respected by people at home and abroad.
