What is China's earliest astronomical work?

China's earliest astronomical works were The Astrology written by Gan De of Qi and Shi Shen of Wei. The two of them observed the astronomical phenomena for a long time and each wrote an astronomical work. Later generations combined these two works into one, and called them The Passage of Shi Gan.

Brief introduction of Shigan Xingjing

Shi Gan Xing Jing is one of the earliest astronomical works in the world. There are eight volumes of Gan Jing and sixteen volumes of The Book of Songs, which were roughly written in the Warring States Period. Gan De, a native of Qi, wrote eight volumes of Tian Wen Zhi, and Shi Shen wrote eight volumes of Tian Wen Zhi. Later generations collectively called their works "The Passage of Shi Gan".

Shi Gan astrology recorded the earliest astrological changes in China. The stone chamber includes 28 stars, middle officials and foreign officials. Shi Gan has systematically observed the movements of five planets, namely, gold, wood, water, fire and earth, found the regularity of the five planets, recorded the names of 800 stars, and determined the orientation of 120 stars.

The Literary Achievements of Shi Gan's Jing Jing

1, the book records the movements of five stars and their haunting laws in detail, and records the Europa observed by naked eyes (recorded by Gander, pointed out by Xizai 198 1, but not recognized internationally).

2. In the book, a * * * recorded the names of more than 800 stars and classified their star officials. Its system has a far-reaching impact on the development of later generations.

It is mentioned in the book that solar eclipse and lunar eclipse are phenomena that celestial bodies hide food from each other. To commemorate the discovery of the stone god, there is a crater named after it on the moon.
