What is the secret life of Cixi?

The film tells the story of Hui Yulan's determination to succeed in her career after being elected to the palace. However, because of his poor family, he had no money to help eunuchs, and he was bullied by other favored nobles, and he failed to win the favor of Emperor Xianfeng, so he was disheartened.

The Secret Life of Cixi is a feature film produced by Jing Wong Workshop Co., Ltd., directed by Liu Weiqiang and starring Chingmy Yau, Tony Leung Ka Fai, Yu Rongguang, Zhou Jialing and Ewenki. The film was released in Hongkong, China on March 1997.

The film tells the story of Hui Yulan who thought she could achieve something after being elected to the palace, but was bullied by other favored nobles because of her poor family and lack of money to help eunuchs. Fortunately, her favorite man, Prince Gong, woke up with all his heart and realized that life in the palace was as fierce as a battlefield, so he decided to seize power by means of methods.

Introduction:

Hui Yulan (Chingmy Yau) was born in a noble family in Yenala, and was chosen as a female student by Her Majesty the Queen. Aunt gave her a visa, but the fortune teller divined. The woman was hit and committed a crime, which will do great harm to her husband, family and country in the future.

When Yulan was looking for a cat in the temple, she met six princes Yi Xin (Tony Leung Ka Fai), and they formed an indissoluble bond. Later, she was robbed by a mountain thief and saved by the six princes. Yixin wanted to propose, only to find that Yulan was her brother's woman and had to leave with a sigh.
