Influenced by others, I think metaphysics is really useful.

5. Simple hope can express or realize wishes.

My father is a retired civil servant. He has been a firm believer in science all his life, but when he is old, he will go to worship and study the contents of Zhouyi to tell his fortune.

My feeling is that when he is old, he feels that some things in his life cannot be explained scientifically, and he regrets his fate. Some metaphysical predictions he encountered when he was young seem to be quite accurate, so he began to consider asking for help and studying metaphysics.

And many people around you will also consider "going to worship" when things are not going well.

Perhaps it is because of this unexplained "luck" that people place their hopes on metaphysics in many cases.
