Why are Zhou Wang and da ji deified?

Zhou Wang can be deified because Shang Zhouwang indirectly helped Jiang Ziya deify, while da ji did not deify.

In The Romance of Gods, Shang Zhouwang has the mission of indirectly assisting Jiang Ziya to deify, because the main line of The Romance of Gods is deification, and there must always be a villain to draw out the characters who would have been deified, just like da ji's mission. Da ji was ordered by the empress Nuwa to disturb the Shang Dynasty. He should have been deified after the task was completed, but later da ji went too far. Nu Wa Niangniang only got rid of da ji in order to quell public anger.

Besides, according to Zhou Wang's performance before his death, he should go to hell, because he was dissolute and heartless. In fact, it is not. Throughout Zhou Wang's life, he has made merits and demerits. After the trial of the celestial bosses, he can become an ordinary god. If Zhou Wang had done less bad things and made Zhou Wang emperor, he wouldn't have sealed a star after his death.

Zhou Wang's experience:

When Zhou Wang came to Hehe Temple to burn incense, he desecrated the gods of Nu Wa with obscene poems, angered Nu Wa's queen, and sent three demons from Xuanyuan Tomb to confuse Zhou Wang. Although the three banshees were ordered to destroy the country, they repeatedly encouraged Zhou Wang to kill innocent people, ignore human lives, kill Zhongliang and treat the people with violence. In the end, Zhou Wang was destroyed and died.

In the middle period, the Yin-Zhou War led to the attack of the King of Wu on Zhou. In the end, the three mountains and five passes were all breached by Zhou Jun, and some generals were defeated one after another, and several Taoist immortals who helped resist Zhou were also defeated one after another. In the later period, only the song of attacking the capital was left. When Zhou Wang saw the end of Shang Dynasty, he set fire to the Star Tower and died. Finally, the Shang Dynasty was overthrown, and Zhou Wuwang ascended the throne, returned to his position, and changed the dynasty to the Western Zhou Dynasty.
