What did you give up to grow up?

No one in the world can succeed easily without hard work. Even if you have a family background or luck, you can't be 100% sure that you or your next generation will be worry-free for life.

We often see a phenomenon that graduates are unemployed after graduation, because they are unwilling to give up the comfort they developed in school, get meticulous care from their families, get easy money, and are unwilling to suffer social hardships. They feel that they are college students of prestigious schools, and they should get a high-paying and relaxed career, start from the foundation immodestly, accumulate experience step by step, and enhance social value.

If we really want to grow up, we must first understand a truth. If you want to dig deep into the field you like or are good at, you must learn to give up a lot of things. Once we make up our minds to grow up, we should spend some time thinking about what we should give up. For example:

I can't know all the people: therefore, I don't know as many people as possible. I don't want all the information to come back. I don't have to take part in all the activities. I have to learn to give up unimportant people and things and limit myself to being with many people every day, but I have to learn to leave some time for myself and think and deepen my field every day, so as to make progress.

I can't do everything: the information we see on the internet and opportunities are everywhere, but in fact, it is difficult for everyone to meet several opportunities in his life. This is why successful people only know how to pursue Excellence in a few things, and they don't do everything well, so that you can't reach your field for a long time and become an expert in the eyes of others, and you will lose yourself if you do too many things at the same time. Therefore, we must know that no one is perfect, don't be greedy for too many things, want to do everything, and finally do nothing well. Only by learning to give up something, leaving what you are best at or like behind and deepening is the icing on the cake.

I can't go everywhere: the world is big and life is too short to go all my life. There used to be a song that sang very aptly, "I want to go to Guilin, but I have time but no money, and I have money but no time ...", so I have to give up the idea of going everywhere, plan my favorite places and arrange my own time. Only in this way can I enjoy it calmly.

It is not easy to give up your comfort zone in order to grow up and focus on your own field. However, the sooner you accept this concept and realize it, the sooner you will devote yourself to your dream of excellent completion, grow rapidly and improve your self-worth by leaps and bounds.
