The origin of constellations

The origin of constellations can be traced back to ancient Greece, when people found that different stars could be seen at different times, so there was a solar calendar (according to the rising time of a river, there were 360 days in a year). Then, through their long-term observation, it was found that 12 stars appeared repeatedly in a certain period of time, so they were divided into regions and the time of their appearance was recorded. Then later people discovered their shapes, time and location, so they named them twelve constellations (the specific explanation can be found in the dictionary), which is what we now call twelve constellations.
