How legendary is Guiguzi in history?

Guiguzi is indeed a very mysterious figure, with unknown historical records and many mythical descriptions. Our grasp of Guiguzi's real life experience is not specific. But some events are almost certain, and there are indeed records to confirm them. Regarding Biographies of Historical Figures by Su Qin and Zhang Yi, famous military strategists in the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, Mr. Sima Qian thinks that both of them studied under Guiguzi. As a highly authentic work, Historical Records can be properly accepted.

The most representative event in Su Qin is the idea of "uniting six countries to resist Qin". This kind of military and political activities between countries with the nature of alliance have achieved full results. The powerful State of Qin was afraid that the six countries would unite and resist on their own, so they did not dare to send troops to Hangu Pass on 15, which shows the success of Su Qin's tactics.
