Is it a bamboo pole or a bamboo stick?

Wizards and residents in some parts of China call a divination tool made of bamboo roots "hexagrams". It is called "Gua" because when divining, Gua should be held in your hand, so as to make the sound of "Gua, Gua, Gua". Bamboo hexagrams are made of slightly curved bamboo roots, polished, sawed and split into two pieces, which are similar in shape to the double horns in miscellaneous treasure patterns.
