Translation of the Last Paragraph of Historical Records Biography of Tortoise.

Three kings are different from turtles, and five emperors are different. Long or short, like jade. Its record is dead, its follow-up. Chiang touched the net and saw Guo Song. God can dream, but he cannot protect his feet.

Turtle policy seems to have been compiled by later generations, not by Sima Qian. The last paragraph is similar to praise.

Rough translation:

The turtles encountered by the three kings are different, and the divination results of the five emperors are different. There are long and short, good and bad. The original record can't be found, and now the explanations are all made up by later generations. The river messenger was caught in the net and trapped in the state of Song. The turtle god can dream, but he can't let himself avoid the net.

Turtle policy is mysterious, although some paragraphs are beautiful and neat. But it has no practical significance today. It's no use thinking too much.
