Taiji diagram discrimination

Speaking of taiji diagram, I believe everyone has seen it, but it seems that few people have paid attention to its authenticity. Since I taught myself Zhouyi on 20 12, I have accidentally found many different pictures on the internet, including the eight diagrams and taiji pictures in some religious temples. Let me show you three common Tai Chi pictures:

White is yang, black is yin, yang has yin, yin has yang, yang is full of yin, and the universe is yin and yang, which balances everything.

This picture shows Yang at the bottom and Yin at the top. For me, it is similar to the end of Buddhism-black and white upside down, but it can't be said that this picture is wrong. The taiji diagram was originally rotating, but it felt a bit like putting the cart before the horse. The following are some personal views.

The contrast between the third picture and the previous picture is the left and right opposite Taiji picture. I usually call this picture fake Tai Chi and ignore it.

Let me briefly talk about the sources of some Taiji diagrams, which are the regular diagrams used by the ancients to observe and record the activities of the sun. In short, many books and legends have mythologized Tai Chi, because the balance point of everything in the universe is found according to the law of the sun's activity, and the transition between day and night is the most straightforward embodiment of Tai Chi.

So knowing the origin of Taiji diagram, let's discuss the next step according to the old saying-Taiji gives birth to two instruments, two instruments give birth to four images, and four images give birth to gossip. The two instruments are yin and yang, so what are the four elephants? Many ancient books are written about the four great beasts of Qinglong, Baihu and Suzaku Xuanwu. It is said that their four great beasts are stationed in four directions: southeast and northwest. Personally, I think it sounds good. Vernacular is the four directions of southeast and northwest. In order to have a sense of sacredness, why do you say that? Because Nu Wa created man, and Nu Wa is a fairy, there is a feeling of condescending to heaven here. Then through the combination of the four elephants, the wisdom of the ancients was created, up and down in the southeast and northwest. So the world is so big, and the areas in all directions of southeast, northwest and south are too big. At this time, Fuxi, the man of God, appeared. He asked his sons to explore the outside world separately and come back to Fuxi a few years later. Fuxi set eight directions according to the discussion of his sons. At this time, rumors appeared. As the saying goes, innate gossip, let's take a look here. Innate gossip is used to set the direction, and it is also very commonly used in Feng Shui. At this time, I will share a picture with you, as follows:

The eight hexagrams are: cognac, Duier, Li San, Paul, Xunwu, Liu Kan, Genqi and Kumba, so in order, 1 is the eldest in the family, and his yang is also the biggest one. Just now, I said that the ancients paid great attention to respecting heaven and lowly land, and so did cognac. The sun was the most vigorous and the anode changed. The dry divination is above, and the Kun divination is below. The most intuitive thing to see is that the position of Yin and Yang fish in Taiji diagram can be located. Set the position. According to the above picture, we can see the trajectory of his movement. This trajectory is also the law of the movement of all things, which can be verified on the basis. Here, we have to admire the wisdom of the ancients Congenital divination is used to determine orientation. Where there is innate divination, there is acquired divination. As mentioned earlier, Tai Chi map refers to the law of the sun's activities, and Fuxi created the innate gossip to determine the orientation. The east of congenital divination is Li Gua, where the sun appears, the east of acquired divination is true divination, and the orientation of true divination is also the east. Here, I have to add that the day after tomorrow's divination can also distinguish the Taiji diagram. As can be seen from the above picture, divination is above Tai Chi, and the simple point is the noon sun, because when the sun rises to the top, at noon, it is also the most vigorous time of yang, and the anode turns cloudy.

When the ancients knew the direction, it was different from what we say now. We now know the direction, generally speaking, it is up north and down south, left west and right east. This is an international unified view, and the ancients said that it is south to north, and Zuo Dong is due west, which is just the opposite of the international view.
