Ecstasy was conceived, designed and built by Andrew Ryan, an industrial tycoon born in the Soviet Union. "Ecstasy" has been built into a dream utopia city, and the energy released through the active crater on the Atlantic Ocean floor is completely self-sufficient from water melting and electricity to food and air. The residents of "Taken" have to pass Andrew Ryan's own audit one by one and choose the so-called "most outstanding representative of mankind" before they can be integrated into "Taken". Naturally, where there are people, there are classes, and ecstasy is no exception. With the development of population and economy, society is divided into different classes.

From the recorded data, we can know that a scientist named Bridgette Tenenbaum discovered a unique conch in the deep sea, which can secrete a strange stem cell. Scientists call it Adam. At this time, a man who claimed to be Atlas told Jack that the only way to survive in this situation was to have super powers, so he should also use Eve. Later, when Da Die was killed by the splicer for the first time and picked a chance to harvest her little sister for nothing, the scientist Bridgette Tenenbaum appeared and told Jack not to kill the girl as much as possible, only the conch in her body. Through the course of the game and the recorded materials, in The Ecstasy Society, Andrew Ryan dominated the world at first. Because he was the builder, citizens had to obey his laws and hoped to live in his dream utopia, but a man named Frank Fontaine appeared to confront him. Frank Fontaine was fascinated by smuggling activities, and gradually he had enough money and supporters to fight against Andrew Ryan and become his own. At the beginning of the game, the person who claimed that Atlas helped Jack was obviously with Frank Fontaine. From the slogans written by Atlas everywhere in the game, we can see that there are people who support Andrew Ryan and those who support Fontaine happily. Atlas is Fontaine's propaganda figure. Because Atlas publicized the civil uprising everywhere, his wife and children were arrested by Andrew Ryan and imprisoned in a submarine to threaten him. This is why Atlas helped Jack and wanted Jack to help him save his wife and children. But when Jack and Atlas rushed to meet the submarine, Andrew Ryan detonated the submarine, killing Atlas's wife and children. Atlas was so sad and angry that Jack wanted to find Ryan and kill him for revenge.

Later, when Jack saw Andrew Ryan playing indoor golf, Ryan talked to him calmly and hinted that Jack was actually born in ecstasy. He could see the picture of a baby with a wire instrument on his head flashing. Halfway through the game, in a strip club called EVE's Garden XXX, you will find a bed and a female corpse with a tape beside it in the background. From the tape, you can hear that the woman had sex with Andrew Ryan, but got pregnant unexpectedly and gave birth to a baby. This baby is the protagonist Jack. Andrew Ryan told Jack that he was trained and genetically modified by Fontaine when he was a child, and then he was sent to the outside world to grow up in order to return to ecstasy and kill Ryan at the right time. This explains that the crash at the beginning of the game was not accidental. In fact, Jack's plane crashed near the entrance of the lighthouse, of course, under the control of specific genes, so at first he recalled "... you are special ...". In order to prove his theory to Jack, Andrew Ryan repeatedly asked Jack to commit suicide in a certain tone and words, which is "Can you be kind ...", and Atlas repeatedly used this opening to control Jack to do things for him. As a result, Jack did it, killing Ryan. I didn't want to kill Ryan when I got here, but the game forced me to kill him, so I had no choice but to be controlled. Ryan just wants to rebuild the order from the chaos. Ryan died, and Atlas got what he wanted. He smiled happily and told Jack that he was Frank Fontaine. At the beginning, Atlas repeatedly gave Jack the power of Adam, just because he wanted him to finish the task for him better. Now Jack is useless to him, so he intends to keep him as the target of Ryan's guard robot, and his little sister comes to the rescue in an emergency.

Then Bridgette Tenenbaum appeared, and it turned out that she had been seeing her little sister in the safe house. She helped Jack to find the drug to remove Frank Fontaine's gene control, and told him to get close.

The best way for Fontaine is to put on his father's combat suit and become a strong Mr. B. My little sister will lead the way to Fontaine's lair to fight. Finally, at the destination, Fontaine injected himself with a lot of Adam in order to confront Jack with Eve's ability, and became a monster-level BOSS, even crying out of Da Die's super anti-beating suit. However, with the help of my little sister, Fontaine was finally put down by those impure Adam and guns, and then my little sister swarmed and stabbed Fontaine to death with a needle.

Jack left his ecstasy to his little sister. The girls grew up, studied and got married ... Finally, Jack died of old age in a hospital bed, but he had his own home.
