Handan was the capital of Zhao during the Warring States Period, which is now Handan City, Hebei Province. A Boy's Journey is an old topic in Yuefu, which belongs to zaqu.

The above six sentences render the unrestrained life of "Ranger", just like a copper pill. The phrase "I don't know who my courage is, but I remember Ping Yuanjun" took a sharp turn and revealed the inner feelings of "Handan teenager". Far from being satisfied with the life in Ren Xia, they hope to contribute to the country with their chivalry and courage and show their great ambitions. Unexpectedly, this beautiful wish was not understood by the real society, but was rejected and suppressed. I can't help wandering through the ages and miss being kind to Confucian scholars, so that I can admire Ping Yuanjun and feel sorry for my country. These two sentences are full of the melancholy that the poet's confidant is hard to find, the resentment that his career is difficult to achieve, the strong criticism of reality and the profound reflection on history! At the same time, the torrent of feelings has changed from the previous escape to reality, which has enhanced the power of poetry.

In the first half, the poets used the experience of "ranger" to express their feelings of sinking, while in the second half, they further expressed their feelings of depression by directly expressing their opinions. At the beginning, I sang "Be there or be square" to remind people that the world now only determines the thickness of "communication" between the two sides according to the amount of "gold content". Without "gold", the relationship is naturally "sparse" (that is, evacuated). The poet's feelings changed from the previous reality to anger. Because of his "sigh" and deep understanding of the world, he hates "old travel" and "current affairs", which effectively forced the last two sentences: "Drink with teenagers and shoot the western hills!" Such an ending seems to be broad-minded and "nothing to ask for" with the world, but it is ironic, full of generosity and resentment, and "missed the distance." It not only depicts the heroic actions of "drinking" and "hunting the Western Hills" (the Western Hills are Mafu Mountain in the northwest of Handan), but also depicts the heroic spirit of "Ranger". Moreover, the "qi" of function words is crowned at the beginning of the sentence, which shows his lofty feelings and strong personality. This kind of music is played high at the end, like a strange peak protruding, with far-reaching implications and endless aftertaste. Therefore, Zhao Xi criticized: "How can you do it vigorously?" ("Hundreds of Poets in the Tang Dynasty approved this edition")

Gao Shi calls himself "the youth of Handan" (that is, the "ranger" in the poem) and expresses his anger by describing their bohemian life and miserable life. Poems are bold and passionate, and their "qi bone" clank fully embodies the characteristics of Gao Shi's "taking the text with qi" Comment on his poem "Self-love of Temperament" in The Biography of Gao Shi in the New Tang Dynasty. The so-called "temperament" means that the author's feelings are extremely passionate. This poem expresses strong feelings through Handan Boy, including heroic singing and hit the floor's voice. There are deep lingering sighs and high-pitched performances at the end of the song. This complexity of grandeur and slowness, enthusiasm and profundity strongly highlights the pursuit and complex feelings of disappointment, joy and pain in the hearts of "Handan teenagers", thus profoundly revealing the "ups and downs" of the "world". Generally speaking, seven words are more difficult to write forcefully than five words, but Gao Shi's seven words are "eccentric in righteousness" precisely because of his "high temperament"

In response to this ups and downs of emotional expression, this poem is full of changes in sentence patterns, mainly scattered and alternated with rhyme. For example, the first two sentences are scattered, then these two sentences are whole, and then they return to scattered. The first four sentences are pronounced in low rhyme, the middle four sentences are pronounced in flat rhyme, and the two sentences of "I don't see you" are pronounced in rhyme, which is the rhyme of medicine, and the last two sentences are returned to flat rhyme. In this way, with the change of fusion and phonology, it not only adapts to the ups and downs of feelings, but also has the beauty of neat symmetry in form, wonderful flight, distinct rhythm and beautiful timbre. Between the lines, the feelings are profound. These characteristics directly influenced the development of later novels and seven ancient books.
