Introduction to Shaman Dance

Shaman wizard dance in activities such as offering sacrifices, exorcising evil spirits and getting rid of diseases. Shaman dance shows the primitive religious connotation of believing in animism and totem worship. When dancing, the wizard's clothes are decorated with animal bones and teeth, and the drums he holds are both musical instruments and accompaniment instruments, and some also wear antlers, bear heads or eagle feathers. This action usually simulates a beast or an eagle. By the middle of the 20th century, there were still more than a dozen ethnic groups in northern China, such as Mongolian, Oroqen, Manchu, Hezhe and Uygur.
