What do you mean by "three talents of heaven and earth", numerology?

As a religion, Taoism must have its beliefs, which are about the beliefs of gods, ghosts and people in the real world. Of the three, worshipping God is the reason why Tao cultivates goodness and becomes immortal. In a person's life, not wasting time, trying to cultivate "Tao" to become immortal, has become the biggest career in life; Those who lose their way without accumulating good deeds firmly believe that they will be punished and go astray. In fact, this is the continuation mode of China's ancient traditional thought of "three talents of heaven, earth and man". It is only a systematic, organized and theoretical Taoist doctrine system with the development and change of folk beliefs in ancient worship of ghosts and gods.

Its principle is based on the empty and abstract concept of "three talents" of heaven, earth and man, so that the three worlds can each establish a world of ghosts and gods like the world of man. Immortals live in heaven, ghosts live in hell, and live between heaven and earth.

Taiping Jing, one of the Taoist teachings, said: "The vitality is natural, and * * * condenses into one, named Amano, and it is divided into two places, named Ye Er; Because of the combination of yin and yang of heaven and earth, people are born, named Sanye. " This is what Laozi said: "Tao gives birth to one, destiny gives birth to two, destiny gives birth to three, destiny gives birth to all things, and all things are negative and embrace Yang, and they rush to think that they are harmonious (Chapter 42 of Laozi)".

It can be seen from the two quotations that "one" is vitality, "two" is yin and yang, and "three" is the "three talents" of heaven and earth. The sky is yang and the earth is yin, so people between heaven and earth must be "harmonious" of yin and yang.
