This answer is all nonsense by a bunch of people who don't understand.

Wong Tai Sin, whose real name was Huang Chuping (about 328-386), was later called "Wong Tai Sin", one of Chinese folk beliefs and a famous Taoist immortal. Born in Huang Gan Village, Lanxi, Jinhua, Zhejiang, born in Chian, Yiwu, Jinhua, Zhejiang. Wong Tai Sin used to be a local shepherd boy, and he was cultivated into an immortal in Jin Huashan. In the Song Dynasty, it was named "Nourishing Su Shi".

The legend of Wong Tai Sin is widely circulated in Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, Southeast Asia and other places. Today, there is the Wong Tai Sin Ancestral Temple in Jinhua, Zhejiang, and the Wong Tai Sin Temple in Guangzhou and Hong Kong. There is also a Wong Tai Sin District in Hong Kong to commemorate him.

Huang Chuping began to practice at the age of 18. After gaining the Tao, it was renamed Chi Chuping and named Wong Tai Sin, hence the name "Fairy of Red Pine". According to China folklore, it is very powerful, and it can turn stone into gold. Legend has it that people's belief and worship are obtained because of the alchemy of Tao, the appearance of feathers and the "prescription" that makes people live forever. The belief in Wong Tai Sin was introduced to Hong Kong in 19 15 by Ren Liang 'an, the founder of Puqingtan, and has flourished since then. The famous Wong Tai Sin Temple in Hong Kong is dedicated to him, and the incense is endless all day. Huang Chuping was born in Danxi, Jin Dynasty. When he was fifteen, he went to herd sheep. A Taoist priest saw that he was kind in nature and took him to the stone room in Jinhua Mountain, Zhejiang Province, and took him as an apprentice. One study is more than forty years. His brother Huang Chu has been looking for him since childhood, but after so many years, he still can't find him. Later, I saw a Taoist priest divining in the street. Huang Chu asked him where his brother was. The Taoist priest said, "There is a boy who tends sheep in Jin Huashan. His surname is Huang Ming and his name is ChuPing. Is it your brother? " When I first heard it, I immediately went to Jin Huashan with Taoist priests to look for it. After the two brothers met, they were both sad and happy. The elder brother asked the younger brother, "Where is the sheep?" Huang Chuping pointed to the white stone and said, "It's right there" and shouted, "Get up, sheep." So the big white stone stood up and became a goat, with tens of thousands of them. I was surprised at first and learned from ChuPing. They are all immortals. Huang Chuping was nicknamed "Red Pine Nut".
