Gu Jian's identity in the East Palace: the only son of Gu Ruhui, a general with the rank of ancient general. Later, his family was killed because the left image was higher than the Ming image. Young Gu Jian was rescued by his father's good friend Chen Zheng and brought to the Western Zhou Dynasty for raising.
