In the third year of Jiande in the Northern Zhou Dynasty, due to political needs, Emperor Wu "asked for soldiers among monks and occupied land under the pagoda temple", categorically banned Buddhism and Taoism, and ordered monks and Taoists to return to the common customs. Wei fell out of favor and moved from Chengdu to Shifang in his later years. Wei's Yuan Baojing is an important work in his study of Zhouyi. The Book of Changes is a book of divination, which originated in the Yin and Zhou Dynasties. In the theological system of idealism, there are also some elements of simple materialism and simple dialectical thought. Wei Yuanhao's Yuan Baojing expounds the meaning of Zhouyi. The Tang Dynasty said: "Bao is a book, which contains a lot of macro, and all three talents are prepared." It is said that there is heaven, the sun and the moon, and thunderstorms; Clear pronunciation and mellow voice, mountains and water, fire and water; It is humane, with a monarch and a minister, a father and a son. Governing the country is particularly good for politics. " Song Yuannian, knowing the books read by Shifang county in Hanzhou, praised: "Bao is a book, and he will learn the Book of Changes best!" Words are simple and meaningful, almost countless, the more the better, and it is a preface. This book not only records good or bad luck, but also "Wang Zhidao, the emperor sees clearly". After several feudal dynasties of Tang, Song, Ming and Qing, this painting "Yuan Baojing" has been popular in engraving and even collected by secret pavilions. Wei Yuansong's General Theory of Three Meanings, Theory of Righteousness, Theory of Qi Triangle and Poems of Thousand Words have all disappeared.

Yuan Baojing is divided into five volumes. Some people don't understand it because of its strange words, sounds and meanings. In the Tang Dynasty, Su Yuanming revised it, saying, "Solve disputes by explaining them, and seek clarity". In the Tang Dynasty, for the convenience of scholars, Li Jiang also annotated Yuan Baochuan.

Wei Songyuan died after Shifang when he was Emperor of the Northern Zhou Dynasty, and his tomb is on the east side of the county government. Before liberation, there was a monument in front of the tomb, in the middle of which was engraved "the tomb of Hui Yingxi's micro-reality". On the right was published "Wu Zhongfu, the county magistrate in the three years of Southern Song Dynasty" and on the left was published "Zhong Guangfu, the garrison brigade commander in the fifteen years of the Republic of China". According to the eighteen-year "Reconstruction of Shifang County Records", the title of the Western Wei Dynasty was given by the Tang Dynasty. The grave is still there, and the tombstone is dead. Ji Yang, the county magistrate, said that he paid a courtesy visit to Mr. Wei's temple when he went to Shifang as an official in the fourth year of Daguan in the Northern Song Dynasty (110): "Visiting the temple and visiting the ancient stone carvings". The book "Jian Yi Bing System" also records: "Shifang custom, whenever the fifth day of the first month is the birthday of Wei Zhenren, people will meet." It is impossible to verify where the temple was built and when it was destroyed.
