Where is the meditation of the four saints of Journey to the West?

The location of the four saints meditation is in Hezhou, Xiniu.

Meditation of the Four Saints is a plot in The Journey to the West. In order to test whether the meditation of the master and the apprentice is firm, the four Bodhisattvas (Mother Lishan, Guanyin, Pu Xian and Manjusri) incarnate their mother and daughter and pretend to recruit them as husbands.

The Four Saints tried meditation after the Tang Priest and his disciples were completely assembled, led by Shan Li's mother and recorded in The Journey to the West's original work:

Hearing this, Sanzang folded his hands and lowered his head. Then he saw a note hanging on the cypress tree behind him. Friar Sand hurried to fetch it. When he looked at it with the master, there were only eight sentences: "Mother Lishan doesn't think about worldly affairs, so please come down from the mountain, Bodhisattva Nanhai. Pu Xian Manjusri is a guest and turned into a beauty in the forest ... "

Literally, it seems that Shan Li's mother didn't want to go to the mortal world, and was invited down by Guanyin Bodhisattva. The work arrangement was arranged by Guanyin Bodhisattva, and Manjusri Bodhisattva and Samantabhadra Bodhisattva participated as a group performance.

And after their change, Shan Li's mother appeared as a widow, and the other three bodhisattvas were all daughters. In the westward journey society, status and identity are always different, which also shows that the strength of Shan Li's mother is far above the Three Bodhisattvas.
