How many villages are there in Chewang Town, Cangshan, Shandong Province?

Administrative divisions: the town has jurisdiction over 48 administrative villages and 79 natural villages with a total population of 56,000; Total area 127 km2, with 76,000 mu of cultivated land.

The town is named after the resident Chewang Village. War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression formerly belonged to Linyi County, 194 1 year belonged to Bianlian County, 1944 belonged to Zhao Bo County, 1950 belonged to Ganlin District of Cangshan County (Area 4), and 1958 belonged to Chewang Township at the beginning. It was in autumn that Ganlin People's Commune was merged with Ganlin Township. 1965, the two communes merged into Chewan District, and in 197 1 year, they were divided into Chewan Commune and Liu Jing Commune, belonging to Chewan Commune. 1April, 1984, it was renamed as Chewan Township from Chewan Commune, and at the same time the northern part was divided into Ganlin Township. 1996 Chewan Township was abolished and Chewan Town was established. 200 1 10 Ganlin Township merged into Chewan Town.
