In fact, in China's traditional culture, astrology, divination, geomantic omen and other behaviors and habits were originally handed down as a very serious folk custom, and their origins can be traced back to the slave society in China at the earliest. Their essence is also a very popular folk culture, but with the evolution of society, they were later used by a few people to engage in crooked ways.

In this sense, people often confuse the definitions of folk customs and feudal superstitions because of their complex connections. Feudal superstition activities are only used by a few people to deify some folk customs and traditions, and then fool the public. Folk custom is the most primitive culture, and its vitality is far greater than feudal superstition, because it is a group, not the behavior of individuals or a few people.

Folklore is the root of national culture, and China's folk culture contains great wealth. At present, in many places in China, while building folk villages to promote tourism and attract tourists with traditional folk customs, managers and operators should first consider how to maintain the authenticity and culture of folk customs and truly distinguish folk customs from superstitious activities.
