When is it eight square?

Bajiao Square refers to a controlled layout form of ancient buildings in China. Because of its long history, there is no exact time to determine its origin.

The layout of 1 and Bajiao Square is very common in ancient buildings in China, especially in palaces, temples and gardens in the north. This layout usually divides the building or landscape into a central main body and eight symmetrically arranged subsidiary structures, making the whole layout square.

2. The layout of Bajiao Square can be traced back to the Zhou Dynasty (BC 1046-256), Sui Dynasty (58 1 -6 18) and Tang Dynasty (6 18 -907) in ancient China, and was widely used. However, the design concept and layout principle of the Eight Diagrams Array existed in the earlier Western Zhou Dynasty, and evolved and developed through different dynasties.
