In the Journey to the West, why didn't the Bodhi founder teach the Monkey King the method of longevity?

Bodhi, the founder of Bodhi, has boundless magic. He can teach Wukong such a powerful apprentice. He can divine a divination at will, and after calculation, he knows that Wukong must have his own way to live forever. So I didn't directly teach Wukong immortality.

The Book of Life and Death records that the "natural stone monkey" died naturally at the age of 320. But later, after Wukong realized the Tao, his life was over. He was haunted and went to the underworld, but he played a trick in it and checked all the waiting classes. Since then, Wukong and a group of monkeys have lived forever.

Later, Wukong ate the fairy flat peach and turned it into King Kong, living with heaven and earth.
