For modern people who want to learn divination, it is obviously impossible to learn the divination method of Yijing with yarrow, and playing cards can be used instead. 1. Find a deck of playing cards, preferably unopened. Take out the king and the king first, and then draw two cards at random. Put these four cards aside, they will become 50 playing cards, equivalent to 50 yarrow trees;

2. Take another card from the remaining 50 playing cards, and don't put it aside, symbolizing Tai Chi;

3. Then divide the 49 cards into two parts at random, one in the left hand symbolizes heaven and the other in the right hand symbolizes earth, and then randomly select a card from the cards in the right hand and put it between the little finger and the ring finger of the left hand to symbolize people, so that heaven, earth and people can be possessed;

4. After the above operations are completed, take 4 playing cards as one copy, and divide the playing cards of the left hand with the right hand first. Then, in the same way, divide the playing cards in the right hand with the left hand. The reason why four cards are a group is to symbolize the four seasons;

5. After scoring the playing cards with two hands, there must be a remainder in each hand, and the remainder in each hand has a certain rule: one for the left hand and three for the right hand; Two left hands and two right hands; There are three left hands and one right hand; There are four left hands and four right hands. Therefore, adding the remainder in both hands to the hand between the little finger and the ring finger is either five or nine. This procedure is called change.

6. After the first change is completed, make the second change. That is to say, the remaining 40 or 44 playing cards after the first card change are randomly divided into two parts in your hand in exactly the same way as the first card change. After dividing, look at the rules of the remaining cards in two hands: one left hand and two right hands; There are two left hands and one right hand; Three left hands and four right hands; There are four left hands and three right hands. Then, the remaining cards in both hands plus the card between the little finger and the ring finger are either four or eight. This is the second change;

7. Then there is the third change, that is, the remaining playing cards are divided into four points according to the above method. Finally, the playing cards in both hands plus the card between the little finger and the ring finger are either four or eight. After removing the remaining cards in your hands, one of the following four situations will appear in the playing cards in your hands:

There are 36, 32, 28 and 24 cards left.

Then divide these remaining playing cards by 4:

36? 4=9 ? On behalf of Lao Yang, represented by Yang Yao;

8. The above three changes lead to a defect in Zhouyi. Because every hexagram in Zhouyi has six hexagrams, it is necessary to make eighteen changes according to the above procedures to get a complete hexagram, which is called "eighteen changes".

For example, 18 changes get six numbers, which are 6, 8, 7, 9, 8 and 7. Then, according to the correspondence between the above figures and the divinatory symbols, it is known that the first hexagram is yin, the second hexagram is yin, and the third hexagram is yang.

10. In the process of drawing hexagrams, we should abide by the principle of "the old becomes less and remains unchanged". That is to say, all Lao Yang and Laoyin should draw the hexagrams of Yin and Yang according to the above regulations before changing. The way to change is to develop in the opposite direction of its own attributes, that is, the old yin becomes yang; It becomes cloudy in Lao Yang. According to this principle, the first and fourth hexagrams in the newly painted Travel Notes are changed respectively. The number 6 of the first hexagram becomes a yang, and the number 9 of the fourth hexagram becomes a yin, so that the "travel" becomes a "book".
