1. Ordinary obsidian without rainbow eyes, that is, under strong light, the beads are still black obsidian without any other reflection.

Compared with obsidian carving, rainbow light shows not a round block, but a piece, such as a fearless carving pendant. If the rainbow eyes are double rainbow eyes (that is, one on opposite sides of the beads), they are round and large, and the light is better. If they are crescent-shaped, they are second. The most common rainbow eyes of the poor are dead eyes/dumb eyes (commonly known as dead fish eyes, imagine what a dead fish eye looks like). Dead eyes are characterized by seeing not only black but also white/purple/yellow/green parts when facing light energy, but the colors of these parts are different.

Ice obsidian, there are two kinds of ice obsidian, one is translucent obsidian without rainbow light, and you must have an authoritative appraisal certificate to buy this kind of ice obsidian, because some unscrupulous merchants in the market sell fake obsidian, usually the one with light yellow brown color, and the other is translucent obsidian with rainbow eyes. In Baidu, many people say that Bing Yao is fake, so I will heat it up. Why is the quality supervision department identified as natural ice obsidian? And it doesn't mean how expensive the gem is. The price is around 100 yuan. Why fake it? In addition, I lament that China does not have this technology. In technical terms, obsidian is actually a kind of natural glass, which is transparent when it is very pure! Opaque only because it is doped with other impurities when it is formed.
