How many years does Hogwarts last?

Hogwarts has a seven-year academic system. Hogwarts is one of the most famous magic schools in Europe. The school adopts a seven-year academic system, and all students need boarding. Hogwarts students go to school at the age of eleven (they must be eleven before starting school), study for seven years and graduate at the age of seventeen. It is no problem to find an ordinary job, but if they want to enter a special industry like Auror, they must continue to study.

Hogwarts has 14 subjects.

There are seven compulsory courses, namely Potions, Magic History, Astronomy, Herbology, Curses, Defense Against the Dark Arts and Transfiguration. There are two compulsory courses, namely, flying course and apparition course.

The five elective courses are divination, arithmetic divination, magical biological nursing, ancient rune research and Muggle research.
