What does the Eight Diagrams Array mean?

The meaning of Bagua Array is as follows:

The Eight Diagrams Array, whose scientific name is Jiugong Eight Diagrams Array, is an ancient military array, which was invented by Zhuge Liang according to legend. Bagua array is a more subtle array derived from Taiji images. There is a saying: "Tai Chi gives birth to two instruments, two instruments give birth to four elephants, and four elephants give birth to gossip".
