What is the ancient encyclopedia of China?

China Ancient Encyclopedia refers to Yongle Grand Ceremony.

The contents of Yongle Dadian include classics, history, books and collections, involving astronomical geography, Yin and Yang medicine, divination, interpretation of Tibetan Taoist scriptures, drama, crafts and agriculture, covering thousands of years of intellectual wealth of the Chinese nation.

Encyclopedia Britannica called China's Ming Dynasty book Yongle Dadian "the largest encyclopedia in world history". It has become an important symbol of China culture.

The historical influence of Yongle Dadian;

Most of the books in Yongle Dadian are works of the Song and Yuan Dynasties. By the time Wen Yuan Ge Bibliography was edited in the Ming Dynasty, there were three or four books out of ten. In the Qing dynasty, only 11 Liang was still in circulation.

Besides the more formal Confucian classics, there are hundreds of historical biographies and anthologies of past dynasties. The ancient records in Yongle Dadian also include a large number of local scenery, novels and operas, medical technology, Taoist and Buddhist classics. Therefore, scholars of all ages took Yongle Dadian as the source of compilation, and they crawled around in it to sort out books and records scattered in various volumes, which made many lost.
