Square map of three-dimensional Fiona Fang map of sixty-four hexagrams in Yijing.

The Fiona Fang diagram of the sixty-four hexagrams in the Book of Changes is usually a plan, but I think it can also be described by a three-dimensional Fiona Fang diagram. A square diagram is a cube diagram and a circle diagram is a sphere diagram.

Cube diagram is more intuitive. Here, we mainly take cube diagram as an example to explain. The two instruments correspond to the center points of the top and bottom of the cube, the four images correspond to the center points of the four sides of the cube, and the eight diagrams correspond to the octupole of the cube. Dry hexagrams correspond to the front upper pole, Kun hexagrams correspond to the back lower pole, Li hexagrams correspond to the back upper pole, Kangua corresponds to the front lower pole, and the other four hexagrams correspond to the left and right four poles.

Sixty-four hexagrams are more complicated, so you can refer to pictures.

The top and bottom of a cube are arranged in the same way, as are the two sides. In addition to the two instruments and four images, the remaining point in the picture is the position of the sixty-four hexagrams.

It looks a little messy, but it is still regular. It can be regarded as dividing the surface of a cube into eight areas: the top surface and the bottom surface are divided into two areas, and the two sides are divided into two areas. These eight areas each contain eight points, and 8864 can just correspond to 64 hexagrams.

Careful observation shows that eight poles, that is, eight diagrams, can correspond to eight areas on the surface of a cube. The front and rear four poles correspond to the areas above and below the cube, and the left and right four poles correspond to the areas on both sides of the cube. At the eight points in the area corresponding to the branch divination, the inner divination should be the branch divination, that is to say, the following three divinations are the branch divination, and the outer divination, that is, the above three divinations correspond to the eight diagrams respectively. The arrangements of the other seven regions are similar, so I won't introduce them one by one.

As long as the spherical diagram is divided in the order of cubes on the spherical surface, the points corresponding to the cubes can be found.
