Tieshan Qingshi solves the problem

This poem comes from the style of The Book of Songs. It is the most distinctive and charming masterpiece of the abandoned wives' poems in The Book of Songs, and it is also the second longest narrative poem in The Book of Songs (the longest is "The National Wind and Golden Phoenix in July"). The whole poem is divided into six paragraphs, each with ten sentences, totaling 240 words.

The six paragraphs are roughly divided into three parts: the first and second paragraphs record the marriage process and elaborate more words and ambush pens; The third and fourth paragraphs describe the pain of marriage (lovelorn), all of which are words of regret and interest; The fifth and sixth paragraphs express the feelings of repatriation, all of which are lamentations and climaxes.

The rhetorical features of this poem are mainly concentrated in the fifth and sixth paragraphs. The five conjunctions in the fifth paragraph are extremely extravagant, and the last word uses "one" as an auxiliary word without any sense of procrastination. Instead, it makes the story more intense and thorough. Of the four words in the last sentence of the sixth paragraph, except for the word "Ji", the other three words are function words, and their usage is also very strange.

As a long narrative poem with the theme of love and marriage, some scholars commented on the poem, saying that as far as love and marriage stories are concerned, its narrative is not complete and detailed enough. I think this poem is famous for abandoning his wife because the whole poem is abandoned by the heroine. Although this poem may be slightly inferior to the later similar representative poems of Han Yuefu, such as "Ancient Poems Picking up Mountains" and "Ancient Poems for Jiao Zhongqing's Wife", it is also incomparable in emotional expression.

Confucius called it "Zheng Shengyin", while "Book of Rites and Music" called it "The Voice of Zhengwei", which was as powerful as Zheng Sheng. Therefore, from the Han Dynasty to the Qing Dynasty, Taoism did not abuse the content of poetry, and Zhu even falsely accused the heroine of "chanting women". It was not until the Qing Dynasty that Yurun marked the theme of this poem as "Writing for Abandoning a Wife" and compared it with "Ancient Poems for Jiao Zhongqing's Wife" (see the original Book of Songs, Volume 4).

What's more worth mentioning is that Qing Yurun's evaluation in The Book of Songs is also objective and in place for the heroine who suffered from "self-protection" in the poem: "A spoony woman may make mistakes again and again, but as for it, the more she turns to save herself, the more she knows her feelings."

"Meng" combines personal consciousness, rhetoric and narrative structure very well, all of which are excellent.

The whole process from unmarried to abandoned in Mang Fu has a clear narrative level and a strong logical connection between chapters. However, in Gu Feng with similar themes, it is difficult for us to find such a similar logical relationship.

In Gu Feng, the narrative level between chapters is far less clear than that in Feng Meng (the complicated chapter structure is like a divorced wife's uneasy heart).

It can be said that in the whole Book of Songs, few people can achieve such a clear narrative structure as Meng.

At the same time, the emotional expression of "Meng" is also very strong, whether it is "not seeing re-entry, crying." The infatuation of "seeing the resumption of GATT, laughing and laughing" or the determination of "how to be awkward without making progress" are all very powerful. The contrast between Mulberry Falls and Mulberry Falls also embodies the greatest artistic feature of The Book of Songs, which is highly literary as a whole.
