The standard tarot deck consists of 78 cards, which are divided into two parts: the main card (Grand Akana) and the secondary card (Little Akana). "arcana" is the plural form of arcanum, which means "profound secret". For medieval alchemists, mystery is the secret of nature. Therefore, tarot cards bring together the secrets of constructing and explaining everything in the universe.

22 main cards are the core of tarot cards. Each main card symbolizes some universal human experience. They represent the prototype-directly and coherently depicting the influence of the human spiritual world.

Each card in the master card has its own name and serial number. The names of some cards directly express the meaning of cards, such as "strength", "justice" and "moderation". Other cards are people who live a certain life, such as "magician" or "hermit". There are also some cards that use the names of celestial bodies, such as "stars", "sun" and "moon". These celestial bodies are high above and represent elusive forces.

The main cards are special because they depict complex and profound inner reactions. Images on tarot cards can evoke many things because they combine abstruse symbols with recognizable people and situations. This symbol is subtle, but effective.

In divination, the main card has always attracted much attention. When a master card appears, the meaning on that card is by no means vulgar and temporary. They represent your most basic and most concerned things-your main feelings and motives.
