What does divination mean?

I. History

Primitive people lacked sufficient knowledge of the development of things, so they used natural signs to show their actions. However, natural signs are not common and must be tested manually, so the method of divination came into being. Divination is to inquire what you want to know from the movement and change of external things to non-human spiritual bodies. It is different from prophecy, because there are usually ambiguous answers, so that the occupier can find a reasonable explanation.

Divination refers to the method of inferring good fortune and bad fortune in the future with tortoise shells, yarrow, copper coins, bamboo sticks, cards or astrology, analyzing problems and pointing out the maze for the parties.

Third, Zhouyi.

Zhou Li was given three gifts by Guan Tai in the spring, one was called Lianshan, the other was called Guizang, and the third was called Zhouyi. Lianshan and Guizang have long since died, and only the Book of Changes remains today. Zhouyi originated in Fuxi, when there were only images and no words. Zhou Wenwang evolved into sixty-four hexagrams, belonging to the word "haiku".

Duke Zhou presented Xiang Xiang with Yi Ci. Finally, Confucius wrote ten wings. This book is very well prepared. It is called "Four Saints of the Book of Changes" in history, and the Book of Changes has become the standard of philosophy of Yin-Yang and Five Elements in later generations!
