How do you know if your friend is worth making friends with?

As the saying goes, a friend in need is a friend indeed, and whether a friend is worth making can only be distinguished when encountering difficulties.

If your friends are willing to do anything for you and share weal and woe, then they are definitely friends worthy of deep friendship.

Those who are hypocritical and duplicitous cannot stand the test of time. Time will witness everything, and all the years have precipitated true friends.
