Contents of Book Classification in Sikuquanshu

The books in Sikuquanshu are divided into four parts: classics, history, sub-books and collections, hence the name Sikuquan.

1, Beijing

The Department of Classics includes the Book of Changes, Calligraphy, Poetry, Rites, Spring and Autumn Period, Filial Piety, Five Classics, Four Books, Music, Primary School, etc. 10, among which Rites are divided into six categories: Zhou Rites, Rites, Three Rites, Tong Rites and Miscellaneous Rites, while Primary Schools are divided into exegesis and Miscellaneous Rites.

2. History

Detailed explanation of Sikuquanshu

Sikuquanshu was compiled in Qianlong period of Qing Dynasty (A.D. 1772) and took ten years to complete.
