Old Town of Lijiang:

Located in Lijiang County, northwest Yunnan Province, with an altitude of 2,400 meters and an area of 3.8 square kilometers, it is an ancient town with a long history, mainly Naxi people. It was founded in the late Song Dynasty and early Yuan Dynasty (A.D.1late 3rd century). It is the transportation hub of Yunnan, Sichuan and Tibet, and once flourished. This is the material exchange center in northwest Yunnan, where industry and commerce are relatively developed. After the yuan dynasty, roads, houses and counties were the rule.
