When I was a Langguan, I read Wan Bi Zhu Shi Fang, which said, "There are turtles in Jialin in the south of the Yangtze River. Jialin means that there are no tigers and wolves among animals, no owls among birds, no stingers in the grass, no wildfires and no axes to cut down. Turtles are among them. They often put their nests on the Xiang Lian. Its left rib reads:' Jiazi is more glorious, and whoever wins me as king, the ministers win me as emperor.' Those who beg for turtles in the forest infested with white snakes must fast and wait, look solemn, just like waiting for someone to report, and have long hair and toast and pray for three days and three nights in a row. "From these perspectives, is it also very serious? So how can you disrespect the tortoise?

In the south, an old man used a turtle to support his bed legs.
