What are the twelve wishes of the pharmacist Buddha?

The transliteration of pharmacist means killing society.

In the past, when the pharmacist Tathagata preached Bodhisattva in the World Bank, he made twelve wishes:

My first wish is that when I am born with three virtues and three bodhis, my own light will be bright, and I will be as dignified as thirty-two husbands and eighty husbands, so that all sentient beings will be like me.

My second wish is that I will be born with Bodhi in the future. I am like a glass, bright and clean inside and outside, with great merits in the light. My body is more solemn than the sun and the moon, and all beings in the underworld are enlightened and follow their inclinations.

The third wish is to use infinite wisdom and convenience to make all beings endless, and the things used will not make all beings have nothing.

The fourth wish is that when I get Bodhi in my next life, if all sentient beings do evil, I will ask them to settle down in Bodhi Road. If they feel lonely, they will all settle down in Mahayana.

Fifth, I wish to be born with Bodhi. If there are infinite beings, I will practice Sanskrit in Buddhism, so that everything will not be short of precepts, and I will get three precepts [1], and I will be pure and not feel evil.

The sixth wish is that bodhi will be born in the future. If there are sentient beings, there will be no secondary roots under me, ugly, stupid, blind, deaf and twisted idiots, and the roots will be completely relieved of all the hardships.

The seventh wish is that when I come to be born with Bodhi, if there are sentient beings, all diseases will be forced to die, and there will be no medicine, no relatives, no homes, no poverty and much suffering. And when I hear my name, all diseases will relieve my physical and mental health, make my family happy, and even prove to be the supreme Bodhi.

The eighth wish is that I will get Bodhi in my next life. If there is a woman, she will be annoyed by all the evils of women and will be extremely tired of leaving her body. As soon as she heard that I changed my name, she would become a man, a husband, and even prove the supreme bodhi.

The ninth wish is to free all sentient beings from the magic net and all external fetters when bodhi is born in the future. If I fall into the evil forest, I should take it with a positive view and gradually make the bodhisattvas practice Bodhi quickly.

The tenth wish is that when Bodhi is born in the future, if all sentient beings are recorded in the king's law, they will be tied up in prison or put to death, suffering from countless disasters, humiliation, sadness and physical and mental suffering. If I hear my name, I will relieve all my troubles and pains.

The eleventh wish is that when I get Bodhi in my next life, if all sentient beings are bored by hunger and thirst, I will do all kinds of evil deeds for food, and I will be proud of my name. I will fill my body with wonderful food first, and then I will build it with legal taste. After all, it is happiness.

Twelfth wish: I wish to have Bodhi in the future. If all beings are poor and have no clothes, mosquitoes bother me day and night in cold and hot weather. If I am famous, I will get all kinds of exotic clothes, treasures, magnificent clothes, incense and drums. What do I want?

People's wishes are unbelievable. The bodhisattva's will is even more incredible. Therefore, the pharmacist Buddha is also known as the Twelve Wishes King. Note that the sixth wish and the seventh wish of the twelve wishes are all aimed at eliminating the suffering of all beings, so the pharmacist Buddha is also known as the great doctor king, and also known as the doctor king to die well. Good death is one of the ten buddhas, good is good, and death is going. The Buddha took the right path, entered nirvana, and died a good death, hence the name "a good death".
