So Zi Gong asked directly, "Teacher, didn't you teach us that the wicked ask God for ghosts and the ignorant ask divination?" I think what you said at that time was quite right. I always did what the teacher said seriously.

But teacher, why do you like this thing when you are old? Confucius replied: "I am so old, not because I am immersed in the divination of Zhouyi, but because I like the philosophy and speculation of Zhouyi."
