A householder should guide his economic life with the Five Commandments and Eight Righteousness. The so-called "five precepts" mean not killing, stealing, being lascivious, lying or drinking.

What is a proper occupation? "Za Agama" says: "Farming merchants, herding cattle and sheep, saving interest, building houses and beds, six kinds of assets." At present, we should also increase public officials, medical staff and so on. As long as we work hard in a proper way, the life we earn is called a proper career.

As a Buddhist, all transactions related to killing, stealing, prostitution, lying and even gambling and drug trafficking should be avoided. Such as butchers, drunken fists, restaurants, dance halls, prostitutes, fortune tellers, divination, fishing tackle, etc. These are all occupations that are condemned by the Buddha as bad lives, so Buddhists should not make a living from them. In addition, corruption, extortion, exploitation, counterfeiting and forgery are all illegal gains, which are not allowed by national laws or Buddhism.

In his progress, Dzogchen said: The real inter-industry inversion is mainly born in castes such as hunters, prostitutes and butchers, who have been engaged in this industry since childhood. In many markets, chickens, sheep, pigs and cows are slaughtered every day. Poor butchers. In some slaughterhouses, yak's neck is cut with a knife from morning till night. Generally speaking, Tibetan families will inevitably kill yaks, just like chickens and fish in Han families, especially those who don't believe in Buddhism. And we didn't turn it into this, so as not to be upside down across industries.

Huazhi Rinpoche said: "Everything Sanmen does that violates Buddhism is actually an inversion between industries." Generally speaking, the "inversion between professions" mentioned by many gurus in their teachings means that the family comes first, and then the custom comes, creating all kinds of bad karma; Or he used to be a devout Buddhist, but later he did not learn Buddhism and learned from other religions, giving up all practice. Therefore, the guru and his disciples often say, "Don't be a cross-industry habit!" Don't commit all kinds of crimes where the law is not in place. Now I have the opportunity to accept Buddhism, which is the result of millions of good deeds. You should catch the elephant's tail like a blind man, and don't let go casually. No matter what Dojo you live in or where you go, you would rather give up your precious life than your precious Buddhism and altruistic events. Everyone should have this determination.

If you don't want to be a karmic obstacle, you should always pray in front of the guru's three treasures, even if it is to offer a lamp, light a incense and knock your head, and pray that all buddhas and bodhisattvas will always bless themselves, practice good dharma and benefit all beings in this life and even the next generation, and never be reincarnated as karmic obstacles. Therefore, even if you were not born in an industry reversal caste at first, you will easily become an industry reversal person in the future. Therefore, we must try our best to continue ourselves without violating Buddhism. In order not to become like this, everyone must not leave the practice group. If you are in your family, you should often contact Buddhist groups. You'd better fly with like-minded people, listen to ideas and practice together. Otherwise, once your karma appears and you fall in the process, it's like looking for a needle in a haystack, and no one can save you. Now the society will be very chaotic. What are people busy with all day? It's a trivial matter in the world. Besides, few people really want to get rid of it. Therefore, in this environment, on the one hand, we should not break away from the pure practice group, on the other hand, as I said just now, we should always pray for the guru's three treasures.
