La Mu Na, located in Tibet, is named after Bandan Lamu, a famous protector in Tibetan Buddhism, which means "auspicious Mother Heaven". Lamunacuo is shaped like a skull, so Tibetans call this lake the head of auspicious Tianmu, where the soul of Tianmu rests. Many Tibetans also call her "Zhuoma Lake".
