How to shuffle mahjong tiles?

The size of mahjong tiles depends on the length and width of mahjong machine tiles. Generally speaking, the size of mahjong tiles is named according to their length:

40 Mahjong, 39.5mm long, 29mm wide and 20mm high.

Mahjong, 4 1.5mm long, 3 1mm wide and 22mm high.

Mahjong, 43.5mm long, 33mm wide and 22.5mm high.

Mahjong table can be divided into two types: large desktop and small desktop, namely, 36 desktop and 40 desktop:

Desktop: flannel 8 1.5×8 1.5 cm square clean desktop with an upper outer frame of 96 cm square. Plus four chairs cover an area of 1.8 square meters. Suitable for southerners, women, families and chess rooms with small room area.

40 Desktop: The clean desktop is 87.5× 87.5cm square with flannel, and the upper frame is 1.02m square. In addition, the four chairs cover an area of 2 meters square, suitable for northerners, large families with ample room area, chess and card rooms, hotels, teahouses and entertainment centers.

How to play mahjong

1. Shuffle: Turn the cards upside down. Players rub cards with both hands to make the cards move evenly and disorderly, which is called "shuffling".

2. Code cards: After everyone shuffles the cards evenly, there are 36 cards, two cards are stacked into a pier, each pier has 18 cards, and the card wall is placed in front of their own house. The walls of the four cards are interconnected to form a square.

3. Opening cards: In the national standard mahjong, the dealer rolls the dice, and the sum of the points of the two dice is the starting base. Take the dealer as the first, count in counterclockwise order, and the point-to-point position is the card wall for opening cards.
