Methods and sequence of classic reading

The reading method of 137 follows the principle of "coming back after seven days" in the Book of Changes.

Where "1" means reading it at least once a day and at most seven times, each time about 10 minutes.

"3" means that you can choose to read three things every day, up to seven things. For example, from Monday to Sunday, repeat the same content in The Analects of Confucius, The Book of Changes and Mencius every day.

"7" takes 7 days as a cycle. Whether you can recite it or not, you will enter the study next week after reading it for 7 days.

It is recommended to read aloud every morning. Read the original text for 30 minutes every day. You can easily read 20 classics in one year, with high efficiency and good effect.

Have awe of the classics. The most important thing to learn classics is to learn to use them. The first step in using them is to read them first.

Don't say you don't have time. Do the important things first.

The best family education is to let go. Being yourself and being a role model for children is the greatest contribution to the family and society.

The Book of Changes is the beginning of group classics and the source of wisdom. As long as we learn a little, our life, work and family will be greatly improved.

The Book of Changes originated from divination and is said to have been written by Zhou Wen Wang Jichang, a traditional pre-Qin book.

However, it is not easy to understand Zhouyi, and Yu's Simple Interpretation of Zhouyi can solve this problem. The author simplified and explained the obscure Zhouyi in plain language.

The Book of Changes is another masterpiece to interpret traditional classics after the General History of Laozi.

Zhu compared the Four Books to the steps of the Five Classics, and you had to climb the steps to enter the room.

Read four books, first college, then the Analects of Confucius and Mencius, and finally the doctrine of the mean.

The order of the Five Classics is Yijing, Shangshu, Shijing, Chunqiu and Book of Rites.

Only when you understand the "Four Books and Five Classics" can you read the fascicles. Zishu refers to the books written by Xunzi, Laozi and Zhuangzi.

The classics of Chinese studies that best represent China culture are Zhouyi, The Book of Songs, Tao Te Ching, The Analects of Confucius, Zhuangzi, Mencius, Historical Records, Six Ancestors' Tanjing and Jin Helu.

Professor Zhang Qicheng, a famous contemporary Chinese doctor, said: As a university librarian, I think that as long as I read the Five Classics thoroughly, I can master the profoundness of Chinese studies. The first book of changes, the second book of Tao Te Ching and the third book of Huangdi Neijing are called the three wonderful books. Together with The Analects of Confucius and Six Ancestors Tanjing, I call them the Five Classics of Chinese Studies.

The Yijing represents the Yi family, the Daodejing represents Taoism, the Huangdi Neijing represents physicians, the Analects represents Confucianism, and the Six Ancestors Tanjing represents Buddhists in China. The main ideas of various schools are concentrated in these five classics.
